One of the main views of the house is from across the valley. This 3.5 storey view was flawed in that the large dark area under the living rooms made the house look ugly. Our solution was to put a natural coloured schist veneer adjoining this to produce a strong visual base to the hosue giving it a more horizontal emphasis. We also incorporated many of the details developed in the Aldersgate road house. The end result is a sharp and pleasing finish. |
