| McGettigan's House We were delighted to be asked to design their new house having designed their original house (illustrated above) 13 years ago. We produced photo realistic image including a photo montage in the actual surroundings. We can produce images like this for your design. | Have a look at some of our Residential Projects. Please click on the pictures below for the enlarged versions. | Steep pitched roofs were requested, clad in copper, for longevity next to the sea. Precast concrete insulated panels make up the external walls. The stunning cantilevered pool, with a glass end, is driven under to access the four car garages. The computer generated images give a clear representation of the finished building. | A stunning house in a prime position in St. Heliers Bay. Set on a challenging slope the house has been designed to maximise the views from all levels. Cost in excess of $1million. | | FREI HOUSE A unique site on the waters edge in Bucklands Beach. A 10 bedroom, 11 bathroom house with an entertainment lounge including an internal swimming pool. A reflecting pool surrounds the front lounge designed with floor to ceiling glass at the clients request. Several glass floors are proposed, under the entry foyer, the dining bay projection over the pool, and on the gallery walkway above the dining area. Projected cost $3.5m MAUNDER HOUSE A reinterpretation of an english country estate, in Karaka. The house was clad in basalt stonework, complete with basement wine cellar. GRAMPION ROAD HOUSE
A masonry construction with timber shingle roof, swimming pool and a tennis court that we designed on a timber platform straddling a valley. RECLAD TO LEAKY BUILDINGS Out of the many difficulties surrounding the recladding of leaky buildings it is satisfying to achieve outstanding results for the new image to the home. On this example of a monoclad house we used a palette of materials; Schist, Etercolour, colour-fast German cladding, cut into tile shapes all over a cavity on Rigid Air Barrier (RAB) over building wrap on the newly protected framing. Note our detail of cover boards to protect the junction with the windows to add weather protection to this otherwise vulnerable point. Note also the added 'eyebrows' to windows to provide added window protection.
