Wayne Houston wrote his Bachelor of Architecture thesis on "Designing a Building to House a Church". Since that time his practice has been actively involved in designing a wide variety of church buildings for a variety of denominations.

ST. COLUMBA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH - BOTANY DOWNS

Completed construction for $2.9m. in June 2002 A modern design at 490 Te Rakau Drive Botany Downs.

NORTH-WEST BAPTIST CHURCH

A successful resource consent has been obtained for this church. A 500 seat auditorium is planned with associated office, foyer, cafe and toilets

SAINT AIDAN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH - REMUERA

St Aiden's beautiful 100 plus year old church had no entry foyer and we were tasked with designing a sympathetic addition to the buiding to provide a lounge foyer served by libraryand toilet areas. We took a design cue from the historic lych gate on the corner of Remuera and Ascot Roads.

ELIM COMMUNITY CHURCH - COROMANDEL

A successful resource consent has been obtained for this church. A 500 seat auditorium is planned with associated office, foyer, cafe and toilets

WHANGAREI CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

A thousand seat Auditorium, Hall, administration, entry foyer and a school.
